[Politics] Protests/rioting in lots of places

Yep the circle wank seems to be complete. I'm out of this thread as this side squabble will be tedious for everyone else interested in an important subject.

[Politics] Protests/rioting in lots of places

A tad personal ?, by saying what exactly ?. Inventing things that didn't happen?. You and I clearly don't agree on our politics which is fine, I've no problem with that. Getting excited about a thumbs up is immature in my opinion but If by disagreeing with some on here who seem to love...

Christ, you write an essay at 6am and then completely edit it again 3 hours later. No I didn't fail to note your inverted commas nor did I state "your" comment but I said "the" comment. Please can you put me on ignore again.

    [Politics] Brexit

Really ? I find that astonishing, certainly one way to stop the boats as they can just get on a train or drive over with no checks whatsoever. Would save Reeves a load of money by retiring the border force boats etc. too.

    [Politics] Brexit

I'm not trawling back through 6k pages to see if it's been asked before but IF the decision was taken to negotiate a return to the EU (Not even going to discuss whether that requires another referendum here) would you say yes if it meant that we had to accept one or both of joining the schengen...

lol. You seem to be very wrong then. I haven't said anything that brushes aside thuggery I just said it was born out of stupidity for most of the rioters rather than a focussed political agenda and I stand by that.

I know!. This was in response to Zeb with the comment about Neo Nazis wanting to exterminate non-white people.

[Politics] Protests/rioting in lots of places

I think some are looking a bit too deep in this. I did see the lad who was from a Nordic country who was accused of instigating via social media, I might be wrong but he looked mixed race to me, no doubt a far right nut job though. Those in the UK who took part in the unrest though I don't think...

    [Politics] Labour Party meltdown incoming.......

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c0r82pjd8gpo Uh Oh - Who will be the first minister pushed out of the door. I'm going for Louise but wish it was Ibeefa Ange.

[Politics] How would you vote in a referendum to legalise cannabis in the UK?

I'd have to vote yes just because I spent a lot of my time as a youth enjoying it immensely. That said I think there ought to still be some limits. The strength of the skunk varieties now does concern me, there's really no need for it to be like that.

The IFS has said the wicked witch needs to raise £16bn to meet manifesto promises. Everything was fully costed though I believe was the mantra so no doubt she has it covered. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cq64j4rdrqno

So the honorable prime minister had an Uncle almost killed by a torpedo that hit his ship in the Falklands. I wasn't aware his uncle was on the Belgrano ?.

[Football] Would the Premier League be better off without Manchester City?

No, simply because getting rid of them would create a vacuum for yet another billionaire owner to come in with a different club and do exactly the same thing (Cough cough Chelsea).

    [News] Hurricane Milton, Florida

Maybe not so much India and Bangladesh but Indonesia, Phillipines, Taiwan etc. certainly get battered on a fairly regular basis. Has piqued my interest now as to why the atlantic and pacific get so many but not so much the Indian ocean.

[Politics] Tory meltdown finally arrived [was: incoming]...

Hmmmm I agree sadly. I cannot possibly see whoever wins still being there for the next election. Hopefully there is someone in the background who can excel in opposition and bring them together.

Going well innit. Wonder if Sue Gray will get a golden goodbye as well as a golden hello to her newly created please don't spill the beans role.

[Albion] Marseille away 1 year later

Day started with a god awful hangover after a late night at the F pub, amazing memories pre-match in the bars and square meeting up with so many I'd not seen for years. Easily the best in ground atmosphere I've ever heard from Marseille fans, truly deafening. Awful start but what a comeback that...

    [Politics] The Labour Government

Absolutely the Tories were doing the same thing but you would have to be very absent minded to not remember the outrage in the media and definitely on here about everything. It would be great if we had a set of politicians all round that were noble and by the book but we'll sadly never get that.

Isn't there?, a coincidence I'm sure that this figure is the same as the supposed £22bn black hole https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cy4301n3771o

It sounds as though the native residents were displaced by us and are Mauritian so guess that's where the claim comes from. Maldives will be able to claim them back from Mauritius later. @jcdenton08 - How familiar are you with Mauritius?, I've got some travel related questions if possible ?.
