Widdicombe Way calling in for the debate. Most certainly Higher Bevendean. Complicated by the The Bevendean Pub which was most certainly located in Moulsecoomb.
I flew Tampa to Boston (1,300 miles) on Monday night in 2h 10m. Was 3h 45m coming back. Ground speed close to 700mph and no more than 420mph on the return. Incredibly smooth flights there and back, which is so unusual with winds like that.
Government creates problems, it doesn't solve them. Why would any one want to wait for civil servants to fix their financial challenges? That is a road to hell that hundreds of millions of debtors seem to travel. Governments WANT the population to be unhealthy, unhappy, poorer, disconnected...
https://mcsorleysoldalehouse.nyc/ I don't think I've ever seen a recommendation on there what to do in NYC threads. It's quite an experience if you like the idea of authentic Irish-American culture (beer, snacks). Highly recommend.
General thread of regret for those who did not see the vision and doubted what was to come.
- Poyet - So much for the glass ceiling Gus
- Potter - Bigger and better? How so? Who needs a history lesson?
- Potter's Brigade - Where are you now? Off to Nice? Once a Seagull and all that?
- Ashworth...
Let me second this point. I'll be in NJ for the summer and heading to Philly and Newark for those games. PLEASE be careful esp at night. Don't be alone, be aware of where you are and don't stray. You can find yourself in Beirut very quickly. It's happened to me a few times and I know the...
Yes, it is becoming increasingly costly with the Big 3 Airlines working to avoid each other other than a few big routes. Atlanta is a fortress for Delta, so nothing longer haul is going to be cheap. Any options connecting? Allegiant, Avelo, Breeze, Frontier, Spirit or Sun Country? Good luck.
The only reasonably priced airlines in the US are Avelo, Frontier, Spirit and maybe Southwest if you catch a sale. 2023 is going to be very expensive to fly. Pilots just got a 34% pay raise.
The key to low cost air travel in the US is book online, don't bring a bag and don't worry about where...
Acela is absurdly expensive and laughably slow vs. European High Speed. Just use 1970s Amtrak services which are just plain slow and reasonably affordable for a 1970s train experience. The USA doesn't do trains well.
Booking.com your best bet for cheaper hotels. AirBnB another alternative especially if you have a larger group or can arrange sharing of some kind.
Harrison is really Newark & Newark Airport - so search there. I would encourage Newark Airport for safety purposes. Both as dreary as shit...
