It really isn’t. Unless there is a new one I haven’t heard. And you know exactly what I mean about being sung by other clubs- tell me one song (apart from GOSBTS) that we sing that isn’t sung by other clubs. We almost never come up with anything original.
I don’t think that’s true at all. If anyone really can’t learn the lines to the Caicedo or Pedro songs (both sung by most other clubs in the country) then I think they have a much bigger problem than the Albion’s atmospher- dressing themselves in the morning.
What, for suggesting that a player who played for us 40+ years ago who has repeatedly turned up and allowed fans to buy him drinks every couple of seasons for years now might not be the all-time club revered legend he once was to the majority of our support in 2024?
It feels a fairly reasonable...
It isn't going to change, because the vast majority don't see it as that big an issue.
If you moved the singing groups from the two corners of the North Stand into the middle and shunted the people already there out to the corners, that would make a huge difference. But that simply isn't going...
A friend of mine (Chelsea fan) said it was quite hard to watch, and then eventually a Brighton fan started giving it back to them, and he was promptly ejected. While the Chelsea fans were free to continue.
Agreed. And it really annoys me. How the f*** is he possibly better at football than me? The gormless twat.
To be honest this annoys me with lots of players. Billy Gilmour, for example. I just can’t see how a little ratty runt like him can play in the Premier League, but I can’t. It’s not fair.
I took a Saints supporting mate to that game with me. He was genuinely stunned at how good we were.
He’s coming again tonight. I’m not expecting the same.
Yes, I’m sure the Amex full of kids and and tourists watching a group game at the women’s Euros was better than watching Pedro slam in a last minute winner against Marseille, in front of a raucous home crowd. Or being 1-0 down in the 89th minute of the first ever game there after 15 years...
I’m sorry, but if you are an Albion fan that has been going regularly since the Amex opened then that is a load of bullshit. Excellent virtue signalling though, well done.
