There was a right :tosser: who got on the same bus as me back to station having a right go at the driver about getting a ticket. He walk up the bus to his "mates" swearing away and this elderly lady said "he's only doing his job" and he went on about living in Brighton but being Liverpool. Real...
We have a seat thankfully as we got on the Euston train at 1810 when it arrived, but the aisles are full the whole length of the train, it's a long way to stand
I think Wednesday was actually an unusual scenario. From the ticket thread it was clear there were still about 10k seats available after STH had purchased their seats so there could have been 5k to 8k fans who rarely/never go to games, especially midweek. Many/most would have gone by train, not...
As a guide in August all the buses has left by the time we got there (something to do with 90% of the Everton fans leaving on 75 minutes) so had to wait for the first couple to return again from the town centre so go to Lime Street at just before 18.00. Walking to Kirkdale is an option but much...
Yes I imagine a load of buses somehow negotiating 1,000's of fans between the railway bridge where the players park and the exit would be simple and not unsafe at all, you may as well say there is a massive green area in the centre of the stadium to park buses  or are you talking about...
Where would you suggest this shuttle starts and finishes, there is nowhere at Falmer to park say a dozen buses to pick up and where are these buses coming from when there are none spare
Added to the fact I cant normally get a bhafc wifi signal or mobile data signal post match due to everybody else trying to use their phones so internet or apps are useless
Tickets will not be cheaper as a result though, the club will just say "we have kept prices the same next season, woohoo but you will have to pay for the trains and buses yourself" which will add £100's a season to fans and most won't bother with delay repay
Its the lack of carriages, last night was all 3/4 cars when we need 8 cars, you can only fit so many trains on the line between Brighton and Lewes and generally they are pretty frequent and also times when the Lewes shuttle doesn't run. I fed up of moaning about the stupid fans who have to wait...
Its all bollocks TBF, there are many grounds in the country which are far far worse that the Amex and plenty are a good 30 minutes walk from a station to start with. Grounds like Spurs, Brentford, West Ham, Arsenal, Chelsea who are very close to a station are rammed if you chose the closest one...
