this is exactly my thought. There was basically no domestic cricket on terrestrial tv for years and years and all of a sudden the BBC are happy to stick this crock of shit on
the t20 blast could have been shown in some capacity on BBC. Even a highlights show would have been a start, but...
yeh I wish GAA in general had more coverage over here. You do get some games shown on BBC involving the Northern Irish teams but that's pretty much it until you get to the business end of the season
what kind of thing are you into?
if its ale etc then
-Toad in the Hole
-Brooksteed
-Selden Arms
for more of a normal boozer vibe then I like
-the Hare & Hounds
-New Amsterdam
good question and the answer is probably not many. If looking at teams that are on par or better than England, from 1996 onwards I'd say
96: A talented Dutch side who were admittedly in civil war mode but then that Spain side was probably on par with Englands
98: None
00: Only beat Germany...
well I've watched from 96 onwards, and whilst I'm not an England fan, I have lived here my whole life so do at least have a passing interest.
1996: The best team England faced was obviously Germany who were of course a really good side with the likes of Sammer, Klinsmann & Moller but I wouldn't...
Ground number 30 last night: The Seal Bay Stadium, home of Selsey (SCFL 1) for their pre season friendly with Bosham (SCFL 2). I was originally planning on going to Ferring but to be honest I still had PTSD from being caught in the rain last week and didn't want to risk it- so I wanted SOME sort...
would the FA, and in fact the England support public accept two and a half years of mediocrity and poor results against shit teams? Unfortunately for him I doubt it
I've seen the future, it's 2025 and Graham Potter is England manager
England are playing at home to Malta. England have enjoyed 99.9% possession and have had 87 shots on target without scoring.
Harry Kane and Marc Guehi are playing at wing back
Malta score, somehow without having a single...
really shot himself in the foot by refusing a championship loan in my view. Seemed to prefer to stay in his comfort zone which I doubt went down well. Might need a bit of a kick up the bum
absolutely electric in our promotion season, and whilst he wasn't as effective, a big part of us staying up in our first season in the PL (slightly less influential the next year, despite his wonder goal against Palace)
absolutely!
On a separate note I wonder how Storrington were permitted to get promotion to Division 1? I've played there in the past and it's surely on par with the likes of Upper Beeding, Rustington etc- are they ground sharing?!
Ground number 29 last night (I am now half way through my journey). A pre-season friendly between Upper Beeding and Mile Oak. One of those evenings where you question what you're doing with your life. Pouring down with rain and, like several other SCFL Division 2 grounds there is absolutely no...
setting up a processing centre in France would make the most sense- something that was offered to our government but not taken up on (I believe?)
with France's election result I'd hope that this is now a distinct possibility
