Essentially it's all about money. Sink billions into funding candidates and parties which back you and you can control who wins elections. Turn away (or criticise too harshly) from Israel and you're basically guaranteeing an election loss. Therefore you have to be seen to be towing the party line.
Imagine a US invasion on the pretext of WMDs. Would it be over as quickly as the Iraqi invasion, or does Iran have a lot better defences than Sadam had?
Can't imagine whacking a guy on a desert island for 10 days would have a big overhead. Buy some go-pros and a return flight to the Maldives and you're basically set.
Well yes, if you conveniently reclassify the majority of the population as soldiers then it's pretty easy to live with yourself. Is this why the genocide sympathisers on this forum keep saying it's the war with the 'lowest ratio of civilian to soldier deaths'.
Great mental gymnastics there to...
Five threads on Israel? I appreciate it's a big story but this is a football forum, can't they at least be merged? It's the same characters having the same debate across every thread.
From Brighton fans? Ridiculous. To say someone had a bad game is one thing, to seek out a player from your own team to abuse him after a poor game is just f***ing wrong. This is not how you support your team. Some people need to give their head a wobble.
You can't take a backpack into the ground, only small purses. Keep this in mind.
Also, don't get your hopes up about the atmosphere, it's pretty shocking. Have fun.
Their first goal was JPVH having a miscommunication with Estupiñan, and he was almost at fault for another goal when we tracked the wrong player during a Forest break.
He's a very good defender for his age (better than Dunk, which is saying something), but I think he's a few years from the top...
I don't think there is a distinct 'style'. More: lots of little styles across different phases of play. Similar to a Rafa Benítez approach at Liverpool.
We've just been spoilt by having RDZ (and to an extent, Potter) who had very distinctive styles, but often struggled to deviate from the set...
I think there's promise there. I'd hope £40m buys more than promise, but I'll take it over being a dud. I would be interested to see how he played alongside Pedro. They're both very similar, but it could be awesome.
Terrible goalkeeping for the second.
I'd love Sarmiento to do well, he seems like a great lad. I feel he may have a touch of the Knockearts about him, insofar as being able to dominate the Championship but unable to make the step up to the Premier League. Hopefully I'm proven wrong though.
