Yea he was a top man, he and my sister split ( obviously) 30 odd years ago but we always kept in touch he toured with the UK subs, Hawkwind , the Do da dog Bonzo band and many others .a rock n roll life style which ended at 56 due to drugs, in a way quite fitting.

My x brother in law had this…( he was a great bloke and a rock n roller, unfortunately not someone you wanted married to your sister, he up went on a two year world tour with Hawkwind, without informing anyone. )

Totally agree with fielding your best team for any cup, there are limited competitions to win so try to win as many as you can, also winning becomes addictive. I personally hate it when playing second sides and being knocked out, it’s like staying mid table premier is all that’s required.

Can we just keep this to football and not stupid “ he said, she said” rubbish….no team in the football world can can control their players before, during and after they play for the teams, and it’s not the clubs fault if players do stupid things.

Sorry I have literally just seen the goal, I was at Hove watching Sussex win, then pub and bed just saw the run , cross and goal….i will have a watch later today ( football is a poor second to me when 1, England win a test match and 2, when Sussex win at Hove)

The rivalry is not a natural one that comes from how close the teams are,both teams had rivals before this one and a lot of palace fans still view Charlton as our rivals. I always think it was more of an Alison v Mullery rivalry that during the 70s was just a reason for a scrap and caries on...

Well just the one wicket before close…marvellous Faye at Hove today and with Yorkshire v Middlesex looking like a draw it’s all in Sussex hands this season.
