    [Politics] Dame Alison Rose resigns

Oh Well. Another pivot to a poor argument which again does not address the discussions we were having. I’ll leave it there. Just consider that he already was a member of Coutts.

    [Politics] Dame Alison Rose resigns

I’m sure you do see the difference. But I’ll explain my position. It’s the difference in being employed by someone and then by your actions bringing that company into disrepute, as in your example with Mr West. Farage had a bank account and was not promoting or advertising the bank. In fact...

    [Politics] Dame Alison Rose resigns

I can see it if they are bringing the business into disrepute, normally that would be a sponsorship deal or some paid role in a company. Farage to my knowledge has done none of those these, just a man who wants a bank account. Where do you draw the line? What examples were you thinking of?

    [Politics] Dame Alison Rose resigns

Personally hate Farage, but he’s just a customer with a bank and unless he’s doing something illegal his views should not impact that. For an employee to wade in in a public manner by commenting on a customer is a basic no no that would get you fired in most situations. It’s not exactly whistle...

    [Travel] Venice In January

Bologna is a great place, very different to Venice. If you are going for a foodie experience it’s unbeatable.

    [Travel] Venice In January

Have been 8 times, our favourite place. Mostly in Summer and have stayed in the Lido and Venice itself. Never found it crowded, Brighton is worse. As soon as you go off St Mark’s square, which is best visited first thing or late, then generally it’s very quiet. You can be completely by yourself...

[Albion] Season ticket points - how many do you have?

Just to update there are a few tech glitches at the BHA end. Mine has not been updated because of this. Customer support told me by online messaging what my points were. If anyone is in the same boat you can still get tickets for Wolves (if you have enough points) mine were bought this morning...

[Albion] Season ticket points - how many do you have?

Thanks the wife’s ticket has not updated either although our son’s has. I’m on Safari and get info through the App. He should be able to get the tickets for us tomorrow as I’m pretty confident we will have enough points. I just don’t understand why the club always leave these things until the...

    [Food] Worthing cafes / restaurants?

I’ve had a great English breakfast at Perch on the Pier. Vudu in Warwick Street also did a great breakfast. I see Shafiques an Indian restaurant in Goring is still going, used to be a go to place for me and my brother when I lived in Worthing (last century) I’d be interested if it’s still good.

    [News] Huw Edwards

Their Sun is desperately trying to row back. I do hope the parents are not being used as scapegoats for the series proposed for TalkTv. They seem very naive.
