Superb post, so well worth me quoting if anyone missed it.
The Common Agrigultural Policy was by far and away the worst thing about the European Union, as it was blatantly corrupt and anti-competitive. This has been known about for decades and has probably indirectly lead us to where we are...
Based on the weather forecast I have turned the flow temperature up to 60C.
Unsurprisingly the central heating came on this morning. It'll be interesting to see if it turns itself off again at any point.
I suspect most of the world sees this conflict as a problem without a solution, so how would they intervene in a way that changes the mindset of either side?
Bang on. No need to be outraged about what is a waste of space on the form, kids that age do not wake up thinking about how they identify let alone get into conversation with anyone about it. Most adults don't think about it either. The only people who think about identity are bored adults...
It doesn't sound like he has much of political remit from that. He does have form when it comes to finding efficiency at Twitter - sacked how many people? The company didn't collapse though, which suggests they weren't doing anything useful.
Twice, the Keith Cuss and twice taken Curbishly penalty match at the Goldstone, and last night.
I was also at Withdean when we progressed past City on penalties in the League Cup - that match was, of course, a draw!
Exactly, the issue is actually one of males in female spaces, it has (or should have) nothing to do with how individual people feel about themselves or how they choose to present, as those things are simply not relevant. There is an unwritten societal contract that males do not enter female...
Thanks for improving my mood! :ROFLMAO:
Though having grown up with the internet I've always been a bit cynical about the accuracy of any content that it houses. Fortunately I can turn off my screen any time I like and go for a run on the Downs, a dose of actual reality is quite soothing.
All that is depressing on at least two levels. First, when I'm actually reading what these people are saying in a matter of fact way, and then when I'm considering that some or all of it may not actually be real.
No need to apologise @FatSuperman, as you are clearly passionate about your opinions in a way that I am not, I think you are just reading far too much into the very little I have said.
I've quoted my previous posts for clarity.
I am genuinely disappointed by the tone of the first part of your response, as to me it came across as a bit dismissive of women's hard won rights, but at least you see that there is actually a problem to be addressed in those areas.
The rest of your post I actually mostly agree with. The...
I don't disagree with any of that, and it's those some that need to be kept in check on either side of the political divide. For example, removing women's rights to bodily autonomy by the extreme right, is just as bad as trying to remove their rights to female only spaces and sports by the...
Traditional values doesn't necessarily mean removing women's rights, or removing rights based on ethnicity, does it? I'm sure most people think of it more in terms of stable family and community lives. Is that bad?
Agreed, it is definitely a placeholder for set of disparate grievances, thus making it meaningless, and grates every time I hear it. They need to be specific and list what is upsetting them, as that *should* open up discussion.
