Indeed! Great news to wake up to! Weird that we've only had three wins all season - but two of them have been against the Steelers and the Ravens!
Anyway, wow, yes, a win against the Steelers, Chubb scoring the winner (after we looked like brownsing up a 12 point lead), and a snow game. I do...
Last time was two years ago and it was the same day. But then a few days earlier I had been bitten by a dog (not one of mine) and it had gone septic. I'd 'played the game' and had been to a pharmacist first - who said ring your GP and say your pharmacist says you need to be seen now.
An hour...
Indeed. It was a worrying time and all most of us could do was stand uselessly in our doorways and clap the NHS; so it was undoubtedly a feelgood story at a time when we badly needed one. It has now been irredeemably tainted which I do think is very sad.
I saw this thread had re-surfaced and I thought "Ah! Must give a shout-out for Alma's not Normal"
Yes, excellent series. Very funny. Will probably offend some, which of course is part of its appeal. (And Ludwig fans it's written by and starred Sophie Willan, who played Holly Pinder)
Yeah. I didn't think that at first, but certainly after he died I wondered how much he was being pushed by his family after they realised what a big deal it was, and also how aware he was of it all. Certainly whenever I hear his name crop up now I feel sad more than anything.
Oh you weren't alone. I remember going on the Albion Roar and saying he was my favourite player. Well he was!
But yes, it was definitely the low point of our modern (i.e the Amex) era.
Yeah I was possibly getting a bit over-excited. It would be typical of the Browns to even browns-up losing. I perhaps was dreaming of those halcyon years of 2016 (1-15) and 2017 (0-16). This season we have spoilt it a bit by winning two games. Never mind, we had a great period in the...
Oh they do. Read any England thread, full of posts from people saying how much they "don't care".
But yes, your point is valid. I want all the Albion teams to win all their games.
Oooh, good call, possibly. Led of course by the late, great Jez Bird, a criminally-underrated songwriter.
Anyway, I love the name of the newsagents: 'Smokemart' :lolol: Different times!
EDIT: Piranhas might be a good call as well.
I had this message yesterday in my work email account.
[Message title was "Benjamin zzzzzz's Estate"]
Dear xxxxx,
I trust this email finds you in good spirits. I'm writing to you independently concerning Benjamin [zzzzzz]. It is important that you receive this message promptly as there's an...
No we don't. (I can't believe it too so long for someone to say that! :))
Anyway I have a Twix account and I've posted on it about three times, and the last time I used it (post or read) was after our first match at the Amex. So it's fair to say I'm not a prolific user.
I'm not on Facebook...
Yeah, I paid about a shilling as a kid for the chicken run in 1966. Can't remember exactly but it would have been cheap and just something my Mum could give me from her purse.
