    [Albion] That’ll do nicely!

One point ahead of the same time last year. WWL and this year WWD, against arguably more difficult teams this year...

    [Politics] The Labour Government

In practice lots of them are dingey side of the garden or down the alley way smoking spots. Kind of a backward way of nearly moving to full ban...

    [Politics] The Labour Government

Agree! Australia managed to restrict outdoor smoking in pubs without the country descending into riots, I’m sure we can too…But hey, lets defend our right to kill ourselves if we like, and then if we get sick from it, demand the NHS takes good care of us to the tune far in excess of our NI...

[Albion] Ronald goes to.....Arsenal (and sits right next to the Arsenal fans)

Sounds much better…I was getting a bit sick and tired of the ”you gay bastards” and the wanker gestures last year…particularly from a young boy who looked no older than ten and his father who both looked like they belonged in Tommy Robinsons support entourage…

    [Politics] The Labour Government

Yes, I can. We are in a pile of deep do do, and probably worse than expected for the new government, so not suprised some things have had to change. How do you suggest we get out of it? All the moaning is just typical opposition griping. Tories who cocked up our country, not liking someone...

The commentators I was watching said Rice was lucky not to get a card for the tackle that started it all as well….

I didn’t say I felt it was intimidating? Just said it was sad to see them facing us and trying to kick something off at every juncture like little thugs…

[Albion] Ronald goes to.....Arsenal (and sits right next to the Arsenal fans)

We went to Arsenal away last season, many of their fans (including some young indocrinated ones) are very thuggy and are looking to incite something at any opportunity..…every moment is a chance to kick off against the away fans, rather than supporting their own team having scored or done...

[Albion] You're the ref: Veltman v Rice

Not sure that entirely makes sense, you’re saying he had the intention to kick the ball at Rice, but it wasn’t premeditated? Isn’t intention premeditated in the moment? No one will ever know except Veltman. What I saw is him trying to take a free kick quickly (whether the ball was at a stop or...

    [NSC] Using VPNs on NSC

I infrequently use a VPN to watch various shows from the homeland…or buying stuff from the US. I had never thought about assuming an alternative persona whilst using a VPN…a whole new world has opened up for me!! :ROFLMAO: This is exciting…

Ah ok, sorry there was one on this thread but have now seen Bozzas post. BTW the views of the poster there are not my own!

[Albion] You're the ref: Veltman v Rice

People are calling it a kick, its really more of a stupid flick of the outside of his foot at the ball, still a kick, but a stupid thing to do and the letter of the law has been applied. In my humble opinion, its the inconsistency and lack of clarity here. If the ref were miked up so we could...

This is a great picture of Veltman taking a free kick and Rice having nudged it away, impedes the free kick... Card all day long.

I'll take the point, as I thought we were going to lose. But actually I think we could have had the three points there...a few chances we should have capitalised on!
