I’ll assume it was not representative of what he can actually do (it couldn’t be) but that 8 minute cameo from Owusu might just be the worst performance I’ve ever seen from a professional footballer.
Excellent news that he felt fully recovered.
A bit less great, that your medical professional mate is sharing confidential medical information with people in a pub.
I'm not convinced it is.
We ourselves, did not manage as many as 10 wins, in ANY of our first FOUR seasons in the PL, and were only once in serious relegation trouble.
I'm on board with the call to add a third spinner - but I am completely unconvinced by Rehan Ahmed.
I get the huge potential - but its little more than potential at this point in time.
I can never bring myself to actively wish significant injury on players. Its not called for.
If Gibbs-White were fit to play, I might just have made an exception, mind.
A Forest win takes then to within TWO points of us.
I'm not sure I'd be completely against the upwardly-mobile, European-challenging NEW Palace securing a hard-earned DRAW tonight, tbh.
Whitehawk are playing tomorrow, away to the OLDEST FOOTBALL CLUB IN LONDON.
I do hope they don't get (understandably) confused, and end up at Selhurst.
I watched this game yesterday. Gilmour was Gilmour, doing Gilmour things.
That is - he didn't win the ball much if at all, didn't give the ball away much, completed lots of simple passes, didn't play many difficult passes, and had one very poor shot at (nowhere near) the goal.
Well that depends if I labelled him as 'shit', or as 'shit in that game'. Because the former would be premature, and thus harsh. the latter would have been entirely correct.
Anyhow - go to page 25 of this thread, and you'll see that I already accepted very clearly, that he IS better than my...
I declared him shit after his showing on our Europa League debut, against AEK. And I (and anyone else expressing that) was absolutely not 'completely wrong'. He really was utterly dreadful.
But he's proven to be a far better player than he looked that night, so fair play.
He's really not good...
The last on the list shown, is valued at €530.
WORLD CLASS defender Marc Geuhi, and GENERATIONAL TALENT Adam Wharton alone, are worth close to that. Some mistake here, obviously.
We have Ferguson and Rutter available, plus Adingra, Enciso and Minteh who have all played there in the past. We won't be taking any risks to rush Welbeck back.
Quite
Some great goals in that lot. Away from the spectacular ones, I love the header at Leicester, and the especially the first against Grimsby - the technique and awareness there is top, top class.
