Details: The employment allowance will increase from £5,000 to £10,500, which the chancellor says will mean 865,000 employers won’t pay any National Insurance at all next year.

Yes. This was covered in detail, yet brilliantly explained on this morning's Today programme. The legislation (not made by the current government) - as it stands - mean that you have to prove the defendant was motivated to terrorise people due to a religious or political ideology.
In the past...
Talking of moving the goalposts, are you and others on this thread now claiming you were right? Because the social media posts that started the rioting claimed the attack was carried out by an asylum seeker fresh off a boat with an Arabic name.
The accused is none of those things. He was born...
Nor do we. Posters are very rarely banned and no one is suggesting banning cjd.
But you’re going to need to posses a backbone if you post how great the UK is from your house in La Rochelle.
I suggested it way earlier in either this thread or the meltdown one. It's a bit hard to keep track of both plus their offshoots. It feels proportional. People with bigger houses have bigger bills but, once you hit state retirement age, they're calculated on a lower tariff. It's not much...
Yes, it's my response to that part. I totally agree with @jcdenton08 on this point but the fact that successive governments haven't suggest it's neither easy, nor cost effective. Unless we're in for a surprise tomorrow.
How do you define wealthy? What's the cut off? What if I earn only a small salary but win the lottery or a large bet or someone gifts me a house? You see how easy it is to do this sort of thing?
Already done, in fact the Tories nicked it.
How? Seems like we'd already be doing it if it was...
No one will. As someone said to me in the pub before the game on Saturday, in a discussion about NSC and this thread, "it's mostly a thread full of people who don't want to pay for public services".
