While this is true, I do think it’s possible that he could change his mind on some of them once he actually met them and spent some time with them for a few days. There could well be someone he rates as a player but just doesn’t click with as a person, or vice verca.
I think the idea that Coarse fishing is fishing big goldfish ponds for overfed verging-on pets is definitely valid for one section of it. But certainly not for all. Fishing for wild Barbel on the Wye or Sussex chalk streams for wild brown trout couldn’t be further than that.
I don’t mind sea...
My wife came back from Center Parcs last weekend with Covid. She was moderately ill with it, it didn't look pleasant. I think there is quite a lot of it around but people don't really test anymore.
I came back with an ear infection and have been completely deaf in one ear for two weeks. If I...
The thing I find odd about it all is that Southgate seems to have the buy-in of the squad. But what do players like Foden and Bellingham think about being coached by someone telling the keeper to smash it long and try and hit the big man up front every time he gets the ball? It must be very...
That’s an odd thing to do in 2024. Surely better to have a massively polarised viewpoint that you stick to in the face of all the evidence suggesting the opposite, regardless of how much knowledge you actually have of the subject.
Weirdo.
I find it incredible that this is still the way we do elections. Little old ladies manning ballot boxes and writing a cross on a piece of paper. It's very quaint. My kids will piss themselves laughing at this when they are old enough to vote.
It is genuinely insane that Liz Truss is going to get a single vote. The odds for her getting any votes at all should be at least 80/1.
But the public are idiots.

Education spokesperson, but very difficult to find out where she went to school. Given that she attended the Cartier Queen’s Cup at the Guard’s Polo Club with Lady Kitty Spencer (Diana's niece), I guess it wasn't Stanley Deason. "
That made me laugh!
He's probably concerned Dunk might try to pass it to Pickford or one of the other defenders rather than smashing it long.
Which is ironic, because Dunk can play a long ball better than any of them anyway.
Not convinced about this at all. People were saying this about Gross two seasons ago. One below-par season playing insanely high-risk football at the back does not mean his ship has sailed. He's only 32, not 38!
