Doesn’t mean you made the wrong choice. How were you to know? It could have been amazing and given you a better quality of life. You did the right thing in going for it. And an even better thing in realising your mistake and going back.
Can we not just copy a song sung by 37 other clubs and shoe-horn his name into it and sing it at 300 miles per hour, rather than come up with something original?
It has already to a certain extent. But I there are still always anomalies. It doesn't matter how many billions you throw at it, it doesn't always work.
Thing is, football doesn't work like that. Absolutely no way will those 8 clubs all finish in the top 8. At least one or two of them will have a surprisingly crap season, and one or two outsider teams will take those spots. It happens every single season.
I imagine we are spending this money because we can now afford to- it's what a large proportion of NSC wanted us to do a few years ago when we couldn't. I'm sure we'll loan out some of our surplus attacking players.
I think if you were to look at footage of some of the best ever managers in the history of the game on the training ground (Ferguson, Clough etc) then you might feel a little uncomfortable about it. Yes times have changed blah blah blah but professional sport is still completely different to the...
He's been in the job just over a month!!
Like him or loathe him, I think it might be a bit of a stretch to expect him to solve that problem that quickly.
Sorry but that is nonsense. You have no idea of the context behind it, no idea what has gone on before. Professional sport is completely different to a normal job.
Fair play to you mate.
Do they have any idea why he has the issues he has? It’s crazy how many kids have this stuff going on these days. I’m sure it wasn’t like this when we were kids.
People used to say that when we were at Withdean. It was bollocks then, and it is bollocks now.
What people usually mean is “I haven’t been for 7 years and I can’t get a ticket to watch us play Man Utd”.
I can’t actually imagine how you cope with this. My youngest had meningitis at 8 weeks and was in critical care for 5 days. He pulled through but has some developmental delays and processing issues, but he’s doing really well. He can be incredibly frustrating sometimes, but it’s nothing compared...
I would absolutely love to play in Turkey. Great weather, great food, big stadiums, fanatical fans and you’d live in some stunning villa with an outdoor pool. If I were a 19 year old footballer and offered that or a loan to Coventry for a season, I’m pretty sure I know where I’d go.
