Norwich had such a chronic lack of confidence that I found it difficult not to feel an affinity for them. Had no problem with making what would normally be the fate-baiting move of openly muttering that they had no cutting edge. They have no chance of staying up
Pleasantly surprised they covered it, then the way it's written makes it even better. Needs to keep being called out until people at least stop making/normalising internal flights
B&O are terrible. Don't do it.
Bought a pair of EarFun ones as replacements. They're good. Only £40 as well but miles better than B&O. Come with a load of different ear hooks (or whatever you'd call it) so you can find the one that fits your lugs best.
Had some issues keeping them charged but...
Funny this thread re-emerging before Brentford away. Going to games tends to cause me impressively bad anxiety, and my pitiful noggin isn't quite ready for an away yet. Already looking forward to being wracked with self-loathing and regret after probably pursuing the traditional remedy of...
Hard to imagine him not being around. Was a seemingly eternal part of the sound system scene. Full of shamanic wisdom as well – helped me keep my chin up on loads of occasions. Think my favourite memory is the retrospectively misguided but very justifiable introduction of a kitchen in the...
At the risk of sounding like an old real ale Tory who writes to Barber, it is funny that they've awarded the same number of points for a discount home match as they have for a trip to Newcastle. And risking getting your head stoved in at Palace when it's on telly is deemed worthy of five points.
Shoreham v Mile Oak was a banger. As is their ground. Will be back. They flapped a bit when I asked for one of their vegan hot dogs and said they didn't know how to do it, so I had a second coffee instead and now feel off my tits
La Roux instead of Radiohead at Reading one year. I like La Roux but that was moronic even by my standards. Partly the fault of the bird I was with but still imbecillic. Can't imagine I'll pay the £200 or whatever ticket prices are if they ever tour again.
Scratch Perry looked about 200 every...
Very much wish they'd pay Hawesy whatever (probably modest) fee he'd command to do the commentary.
"Albion win three to one"
"Albion fans will be familiar with him" (one of our own players)
"Your Albion score"
etc etc
I've worked at Wembley for every England game of this tournament (with and without having tickets.) It's worth it just for the tube, walk through Wembley Park station and under the tunnel and the scenes outside Wembley Arena. If you go through the gate on the right about halfway up Wembley Way...
