Martyn Ware's podcast has some decent episodes. You might also get a feel for why he might turn a huge company down for such a low amount if you gave it a listen. instead of dismissing him as stupid or something.
Another quick note on yesterday is how the light was absolutely fine to play from 10am onwards. The lights were on from about 11:30 anyway. Seems ridiculous to have been forced to play spin in the afternoon under lights.
Was there yesterday. The last hour or play was absurd and I would rather they have gone off than leak all those runs, even if it meant missing some play personally. Good day out nonetheless.
I also basically predicted Brook would get out the ball before it happened. A very odd innings.
It's ABSURD that teams can't go full strength into the finals day. Maybe they need to have played a certain amount of games throughout the tournament to be eligible for finals day or something but this is MAD.
Also gave up on Crime and Punishment and Wolf Hall (BORING).
The book I've got furthest into, but had to give up on, is A Brief History of Seven Killings by Marlon James. I really tried with it but found the patois impenetrable.
The comparison with Pedro kicking the ball away is a flimsy argument.
You can also see Partey gesturing for one of the two balls available to him positioned on the cones next to the technical areas, as soon as Pedro kicks it.
