[Albion] The timing of the pre-match GOSBTS

I posted this in the poll thread but no harm in repeating here. Direct quote from PBOBE on this: "As ever, many people have different views. Our job is to maximise the atmosphere pre-match - it appears to be better with GOSBTS in its new place - and also support the players to get off to the...

[Albion] Sussex By The Sea Poll

PBOBE direct quote: "As ever, many people have different views. Our job is to maximise the atmosphere pre-match - it appears to be better with GOSBTS in its new place - and also support the players to get off to the best start in matches (and their preference is to play GOSBTS where it now is)."

Interesting. Especially considering the timing of their terrible start to the season.

    [Politics] Trump under fire.

Sad state of affairs when there is violence against our politicians. Freedom of speech is more important than agreeing with everyone’s views. I hope we never see a PM or President (again) assassinated.

[Albion] The timing of the pre-match GOSBTS

It all smacks of someone new being in charge and trying to make their mark. Stop it, now. First they move it, then they bin it... Has there been a change in whoever runs such things?

[Albion] To Avoid Hürzeler Bashing - The Staying Up and Europe Tracker - season 2024-25 Game 11 Update

Bad news is best served on a Sunday. But still 4 over, only 1 over Europe now though.

[Albion] Sussex By The Sea Poll

First they move it. Then they drop it. Mark my words it’s a worrying development. Soon we will be walking out to something else.

Nope do not like it. Means the team comes out to that premier league dirge instead.

[Misc] The Award-winning official "More Snow Tomorrow?" Thread [2024-25 Season]

It dropped to just 5 degrees over night, so time for this thread to have its annual dust off. Lovers of the white stuff will be hoping for a big improvement on last winter's almost total no show.

    [Misc] Friday 13th 😱

My father was deeply superstitious all of his life. He did it all, avoided walking under ladders, throwing spilt salt over his shoulder, refusing to pick up a dropped knife etc. We even had to cross our fingers if we saw a dalmatian and could only uncross them if we saw another type of dog...

[Sussex] The Stable Yard - New Member's Club in Worthing

I’m similar. Subscribed to their emails which get increasing desperate and hard to believe to be honest. They emailed to announce the members opening nights but today emailed to say that as some members have said they’re on holiday that they are now moving the date again. Really?!!

[Sussex] The Stable Yard - New Member's Club in Worthing

Members preview night towards the end of September apparently but still not open. Must be costing them a fortune. Hard to see this doing well but who knows.

You're making a big assumption there, it's only his daughter.

    [Albion] Hürzeler's pre-Ipswich presser

Would love to see Hinsehlwood released into midfield. I think he could do a lot of damage there.

[Misc] Does WFH (working from home) reduce productivity?

Depends on the person. Much like working in an office there will always be slackers who take the mick.

[Misc] Have you put the heating on yet? (2024/25 edition)

I bought some wood for the log burner today. There is no way the heating is going on before November at the earliest.

[Albion] Have we, at some point in our seasons in the EFL/EPL, occupied every position between 1-92?

12 of the currently 20 teams in the Premier League were in the old division one in 1983. Thought it might be less than that.
