Not convinced by this at all. I’m sure they profess that publicly, but I imagine in private they are rather happy being in power with all the luxuries and privileges that brings. I can’t imagine they’re in too much of a rush to get to their 72 virgins.
Was always a Potter fan until he left. Thought he came across really badly last night. Very pre-rehearsed, cringey answers. He'd be a long way down the list for me if I were a Premier League club looking for a new manager.
I think his ego (and bank balance) has stopped him taking a sensible job...
Friend at what was then Seeboard electricity changed the 'Mr' on the dropdown box on their CRM to 'Commander' on my record.
Meaning every time they sent me a bill (or more accurately in those days a FINAL DEMAND) it was addressed to Commander xxxx xxxx.
It made me feel very special.
Indeed. Those youngsters that people say "He plays beyond his years" about - Enciso is the opposite of one of them.
Could absolutely see him ending up with a messy transfer saga and being our next pantomime villain.
Maybe let's not completely turn on him for something he hasn't done yet though.
Indeed.
I still find it incredible that somebody who has never been to Sussex thinks he knows the place better than hundreds of people who live here.
Are you Hurzeler OUT yet mate? It’s about this time of a new manager’s reign when you start to turn, isn’t it? 😉
You do talk some nonsense. I passed on what he said to someone I know. I wasn't there, I don't know the tone of the reply, I don't know whether it was more "Why would I go to that shit club" or "I'm hoping to hold out for something a bit higher up than that but let's see" type response- it could...
Which other "ITK stuff" out of interest? Why is that so unbelievable about Potter? It's pretty much what I would have expected him to say- this was also when they were in the Championship don't forget.
Somebody I know spoke to him about the Saints job a few months ago. His response was "Why would I want to go there, I've managed in the Champions League".
What about all the other songs Albion fans sing? Can you not remember the words to those either?
Not a dig, genuinely interested.
(It absolutely was one of the best GOSBTS on Sunday for a long time where I was)
Went to Haywards Heath last night. Comfortable 3-1 victory against Crawley Down who were in 3rd place and had scored 23 goals in 8 games.
Heath look a very good side this year, and have conceded only 3 goals in 9 games. And their MOM looked about 12.
