I must say that after I heard him say "tell me what's on the other side of the door" about 100 times in one programme, relating to Brexit, I made the conscious decision never to listen to his show again.
James O'Brien always gives opinions that will get listeners phoning in, in droves, to argue with him, but cleverly does it in a way that convinces a lot of people that he is being honest. It's a tried and tested talk show format, but does get very predictable in time.
Reading this thread is quite humbling. I sometimes feel really stressed and exhausted because of work issues, but now realise this is all nothing compared to the debilitating mental trauma that some in our small community are trying to cope with.
