If Bloom and Barber are correct then option 1 will be more or less true.
However I can't shake this feeling that option 2 will be the reality.
Money talks.
Who cares if no other club wanted him? We did! And he was quality for us last season.
Somebody, somewhere has dropped the ball in a major way.
I'd say anyone who isn't even a little worried by all of this is either stupid or doesn't seem to grasp the lack of strength and depth in out squad...
I can't help but think that Barnes would fit perfectly into this front 3 "not so wide" wide men formation that Samii likes. He's not gonna get a game in the prem, bring him back! (Obviously never going to happen)
Which is fine. I like that we refuse to be silly and spend a truck load on players just because we can (if TB was feeling it) But at what point does that start being detrimental?
[Q UOTE=Smirko;6499693]Tip - Use the search option and your questions will be answered, don't start yet ANOTHER thread on FFP!!!
Pure laziness and ineptitude.
Jesus wept. It's only a question.
Who pissed in your cornflakes this morning?
Right, I'm sure this has been covered on here before but I haven't seen it, so I'm putting it out here...
We seem to be one of the only clubs really striving to make an effort to fall in line with FFP.
Now Barber seems confident that it although it restricts us now, that all will be good in...
I miss that Will Buckley.
When he does that "chip the ball over the defender and put on the afterburners" bit it shows how good he is when he is confident.
Fitness issues aside, I agree with others that unless we:
a) Get a decent fee for him (let's say £5m if GP really believes he's a £10m...
No. At least Barnes came up with the goods from time to time, scored some goals and did the dirty work when required.
Watching Kemy makes me feel like I could be a pro footballer!
