Even though VAR cost us at least five points the season we qualified for Europe, (Howard Webb had to come and give us a grovelling apology, twice), I have to agree with you. Most refs just can't be trusted to get all their decisions right.

I remember a young black East lino 2 or 3 seasons ago who looked completely out of place. Didn't make one single decision, waiting for the ref to point before he would lift his flag. Haven't seen him since then.
