Yes, I did see him, but a) I was only a teenager at the time and maybe my appreciation of the subtler arts of the game were less well tuned than they are now b) it was a long time ago c) there's not the same level of footage of him playing to compare d) IMO the quality of players Lawro was up...
It will be interesting to see if Fulham try to do things differently this year, or whether they will simply swap places with Norwich yet again.
Too early to predict, need to see the transfers etc, but my picks at the moment would be Forest, Bournemouth and Fulham to go straight back down.
Like...
Yes, ironically Huddersfield have a better pedigree than Forest (3 league wins) and probably would have won the European Cup a few times, if such a trophy had existed in the 1920s
Well I think my point is he was a great performer for us, but played just two seasons, I think, in the First Division. He did not reach his peak with us. Arguably, Dunk with 5 seasons in the Premier League is the most consistently good defender we have ever had.
And I remember Lawro often played...
I don't think we it is September, I think it's June. 6/9 is the 9th of June to New Yorkers.
I also think it is just that the redirection link from the original wordle site that takes you the NYT wordle site will stop working then, and you just need to go straight to the NYT site. It shouldn't...
I don't think Lawro was Brighton's best ever player for Brighton though. If he had stayed for a few more seasons rather than going to Liverpool maybe, but that is where he spent his best years and had his achievements as a player.
If you really wanted to gain an advantage you could just bookmark one of the many sites that list all of the answers and go there every morning, but I suspect most of us would think that would be a pretty pointless and sad thing to do.
The main reason to look at the comments after you post your...
But, by selling Ben White we were able to fund the purchase of Mwepu, Cucu and others without incurring even larger losses. This whole thread might not exist if we had kept White.
Apologies, my English is not as good as yours. I clearly didn't mean crucially, I meant something else, like the salient point (i.e. the most relevant or noticeable point), which was the article was effectively dismissing the speculation at the moment.
And as regard whether Brighton did or...
The article stated No bids, no significant contact and crucially, "But the message remains that Albion do not need to sell anyone and are looking forward to next season."
So regardless of any contact, significant or otherwise, I think Brian Owen is suggesting we won't sell unless there is a bid...
I am not bothered either way. My "official stats" are already messed up hence having to keep my own separate ones.
Also I am happy to do a separate monthly table for everyone who posts a score. I can just add more columns to my spreadsheet with each competitor.
I would post a weekly update...
According to this article, we had a bid accepted by Barcelona in January, but he refused to come. who knows
