I think it interesting that at the start of the season he seemed to be playing further forward, hence getting into better shooting positions. Last few games, he's hasn't really got into a dangerous area at all.

It was a penalty. Even if the ref hadn't given it, I suspect VAR would have referred him to go and have a look. If it had happened to Welbeck, there would be no one on here saying we were lucky to get a penalty. Shouting in the face of the ref would have achieved nothing other than a few more...
