Whisper it but an improvement on RDZ’s first season is a possibility…..
......... and without the advantage of being given a flying start! Will be a good effort if he pulls it off - my guess, FWIW, is 8th. or 9th. though; still, would have no complaints about that.

Of COURSE it's a transition season. I mean, you don't think we're going to win the Premier League THIS season do you?
We are deliberately throwing the PL this season so Liverpool win it and we get the add ons for Alexis. Finishing second would be too obvious though so we are going under the radar by properly not challenging. 😉

Blowhards to the left, right and centre on this thread. Including the 'of course this was always going to be a transition season' brigade. Football, eh? The only certainty is that nobody knows anything, and the things you think you know will come back to bite you on the bum :lolol:
You don't KNOW that.

Although you might have a feeling about it...

I think too much emphasis has been put on Fab on either extreme, be it the angry outers of last month or the giddy inners of now. For me the biggest factor has been the injuries we have had. It is no coincidence we play better when have more than one or two fit midfielders in the squad.

The time to criticize is when he mucks up with a fit squad. And the time to laud him is when he wins despite an injury crisis.

I guess Im "fence" still...

Can we draw a line in the sand and move on from this all. Please 🙏

I want a new thread which is less polarising, so everyone can move on and discuss actual good/bad things about our manager.

The thread title is somehow marginally less embarrassing than it was at the time (if only because it now looks SOO ridiculous), but it still forces this constant reminder to what was pretty horrendous atmosphere on this forum, it forces the above constant back and forwards about who was right/wrong. And name calling.

Even the post above seems relatively balanced, but refers to "giddy inners". I stopped lurking and became very vocal on this forum about supporting Fab/the team and to give it a bit of time - we had new kids playing and half the team injured. But I'm not a "giddy inner" and I'm still not 100% convinced on everything I see. But calling for his head was just far too reactionary and the sort of embarrassing behaviour I'd expect from Chelsea fans.

I'm extremely bored now of the vitriol from both sides. Time for a fresh thread and fresh start.

Let's have a thread to actually discuss the manager and his tactics.

This embarrassing thread needs to die a happy death. ☠️

Awww I spent ages on that! It was meant to refer to the extreme triumphalists that have been almost as aggresive as the extreme outers were in their raging.

I think the majority of us, be we inners or outers are fairly level headed. We just get drowned out by the shouters so the whole board feels toxic. I always give NSC a swerve for a day or two after a loss or even a draw. Too many angry keyboard warriors.

Bang on.

Ok, so I'm trying to be the change I want to see. New thread here:

I look forward to looking forward with you on it.

The past is exactly that and this thread is old news for me now.

I say leave it for all to see. It's a thread on a message board – no big deal.

I absolutely guarantee that there will be people back to OUT again before the end of the season. As utterly mental as that is.

Stop posting on it then (or more easily, put it on ignore)

Come on guys, The OP has always been a troll. I nearly fell for it myself when he kept on promoting "HIS THREAD" (this one) when we didn't do well. Just look at his most recent posts. All on "HIS THREAD"

He joined NSC with a user called NORTH STAND SEAGULL with a location of HOVE. He couldn't find the AMEX on google maps
