[Albion] How much is Joao Pedro worth?

MASSIVELY overrated player.

Barely every scores from open play.

Having a really average season but seems to exude an arrogance that he's given enough at little old Brighton to earn his big boy move.
Inclined to think he and Bart are living off agent hype bull shite. Every week one of the big boys are looking to swoop.

If we get £40-50m end of season get rid and let Rutter come through.

When he's playing well or when he's sulking, strolling about with his hands on his hips or flapping his arms about?

They all come with different cost premiums.

When does he play well though ?

1 in every 3 games ?

It's not enough

I’m very concerned that he’s gone from looking a real leader with incredible work rate to an arm waving strop with a penchant for violence.
There’s a lot of signs things aren’t right. Been the same since early December.

He’s not overrated. He’s just not a number 9 in this current system. But rather than building a squad to get one of our best attackers into their best position, we’ve constantly been putting square pegs in round holes and then wondered why they’ve not performed…

No more than the £ 30 m we paid for him, probably less now

Think he got some unfair stick from some a little while ago when he wasn’t fully fit or at his best for a few games but the boy has been oustanding since returning to the starting line up. Credit to Fab for the way he dealt with it and taking him out when he did and then bringing him back in as he’s come back on fire.

He was brilliant yesterday. Worked incredibly hard all game and showed his class with his involvement for both goals. Unlucky not to get one himself after another great piece of individual play led to his shot being saved by Dubravka. His involvement in Welbeck’s goal when he could barely walk at that stage was oustanding and rightly recognised by Welbz.

There's no doubt he had a sticky patch of late and the playacting that will probably never leave his game I think tends to overblow any negativity about him. But he's back on a nice upward curve in form now

It's obvious to anyone with a set of eyes, Joao Pedro is talented enough to play CL football and win caps for Brazil.

But, it's fair to say he's not hit the heights so far this season, likely through a mixture of being played in a less favourable position and being assaulted by Gibbs White.

I actually think he is now really adjusting well to leading the line, his clever touches can bring others in. However, I'd like to see him spin in behind more often and his goalscoring numbers aren't so far amazing. More than anything though, stay on your bloody feet Joao, you're fooling absolutely nobody.

As things stand, probably not a starter when Welbz and Georginio are fit, but should get on every game.

Yep, I’m very much pro-JP. I think some judge him on body language, and his body language deliberately misleads. I’d describe it as having a touch of the Berbatov’s.

He can look like he can’t be arsed, but actually he’s still very much fighting and running for the team. I feel those writing him off are a bit premature.

Joao Pedro was joint 3rd highest scorer in the Europa League last season racking up 6 in 6, and outscoring Salah, Nunez, Gyokeres, so he can do it in Europe.

He averages a goal involvement every 143 minutes in the Premier League, he already has more in 24/25 than he managed in 23/24 having played 524 minutes less, and he is only 23.

He could play in any league in Europe and succeed. For comparison, Raphinha had one goal involvement every 182 mins and went to Barca 3 years ago for £50 million. Man Utd spent £64 million plus £8 million add-ons for Hojlund.

So I say Bloom would be looking at upwards of £60 mill, probably nearer £70 mill.
