They are fine from a PSR perspective. The sales of McTominay and Greenwood generated profits to offset extra costs
If they really want to save money, they could start by not paying players £200-£300K a week, and maybe get some in who want to play for the shirt. They're going to have trouble getting rid of those they've already got, buy long-term they've got to do something different.
Thanks……makes the activity all the more bizarre then really, although the medium term financial situation must be looking desperate over the next 2/3 seasons with long, expensive contracts in place for too many players and likelihood of no European income
What a mess, clawing back money they badly invested in Dan Ashworth and dilly-dallying with Ten Hag’s tenur by chopping the canteen. This Ratcliff guy seems useless when it comes to sports.
