Well, if you read the top of the page…
Let me help...

NSC earns a small kickback if someone joins Amazon Prime after clicking on the link on NSC.

Once they've clicked, joined, and Amazon pays NSC *checks notes* £3.00, I don't give a shit when someone cancels.

And, for the record, one (1) person joined Amazon Prime via NSC in the whole of 2024. Neither the site nor me are planning life on a Brazilian beach funded by Brighton fans joining Amazon Prime.

But, even if the thing was more lucrative than it is, I am happy to forego all Amazon revenue to send a message that Donald Trump is a thick, racist, misogynistic, vile and evil criminal **** who is an uttter liability to both the USA and the wider world.

There's a link to buy stuff on Amazon, yes? Being a member of AP is an entirely private decision as far as I'm aware.

You have to pick your battles.

I deleted my Twitter and Facebook accounts. I won't be returning. That was less to do with the Ukraine thing and more to do with the political direction things are headed in.

As regards American products, they trade with us and we with them. We all buy Chinese products, a regime far more oppressive than that of the US. It's inescapable.

I do think that culturally we are actually more in tune with Western Europe. I always said that one of the reasons we've always had spats with the French is because they are actually quite like us. I've always referred to Europe as the 'mainland' which sometimes confuses folk, but it's because I consider myself to be European. I could cope with BREXIT, but I was very angry that what I saw as my European citizenship had been stripped from me.

Tell me what you really think, lol.

racist, misogynistic, vile and evil criminal

Isn’t this the very same libelous action that you discourage on this site for fear of legal action?

It's not libellous when it's true. Hope this helps.

As well as American Express, that'll include Apple, Amazon, Google/Alphabet, Microsoft, Ford, Meta, Citigroup, Johnson & Johnson, PepsiCo, Disney, Dell, Proctor & Gamble, Boeing, Nvidia, Pfizer, Intel, HP, Nike and Coca Cola amongst many others.

Whilst I admire the underlying sentiment, it's probably fair to say that you'll have your work cut out.
I don’t use or buy from all but one of them already. Job done. Easy.

I disagree. We’re more like the Germans, Dutch and Scandi nations than the French and southern Europeans IMO. I’ve lived in Germany, Switzerland and (briefly) France and felt more culturally aligned with Germanic types. Beer, football, sausages — what’s not to like?
