Managed to miss this on the 21st but yes, very emotional. When it started I was expecting him to say that he'd been a Brighton fan since 2017 or some other recent, but re-Mitoma date. Instead he's been a fan since 1973! He's been on pretty much the same journey as a lot of us here.

Fantastic stuff.

It’s a good job Mitoma never signed for Palace. Imagine that equivalent video - “wash your hands again”, “don’t step in that” etc.

Japanese chap next to is in WSL C block. Lovely guy who handled the rash of hugs from middle aged men when the.pen went in with great dignity.

They were in the coach park after the game, waving at all the supporters coaches as they left the ground.

I was talking to a young couple in their twenties from Texas before the game in the East Stand Upper.
They both had Albion baseball caps with the US flag embroidered on the side.

Unfortunately the brand is "47" which is embroidered on the opposite side of the cap to the flag.

They thought it was a nice touch from the Albion to recognise the 47th President!
