Newcastle v Forest draw will suit us nicely today🤞

I'm not sure what I want there. If Forest go the whole season without any bad injuries, we're not going to catch them, so may as well hope they win today. But they get anything like the injuries everyone else gets, maybe we could.

So in conclusion, I don't know who to support.

I agree he made the most of it, but it was a shirt pull by De Ligt. True, Young defied the laws of physics to fall forwards but that’s football.

I think the braver decision would’ve been to have stuck by his original decision having been called to the screenas

There have been a couple of times this year when the explanation why a penalty wasn't given was due to the shirt not being held long enough to warrant a foul.

I think that was the case with Young yesterday , he doubled down by throwing himself to the ground.

This shouldn’t warrant VAR intervention to overturn, per PGMOL’s own guidelines for VAR usage. The referee saw a foul (the shirt pull), awarded a penalty. There was contact, the on-field decision should’ve stood.

The “sustained action” is a ref’s call, not for VAR to intervene.

Newcastle are owned by Saudi Arabia.

Hope that helps.

I'm going to give you this quote from 2021, describing the drug trafficking trial against Marinakis:

In January 2021 and after 10 witnesses of the case have already died, and after reviewing the case, the judge came to the conclusion that there was no evidence implicating Marinakis, and therefore concluded his investigation.

Saudi is bad, but this guy is worse. Exactly how bad I can not tell you without potentially putting NSC in danger.

The Bournemouth player is stretching and not in total control. I don’t agree with Shearer that the ball made the contact that much higher, his challenge was already high. Bit harsh maybe but you can see why they upgraded it imo.
Fortunately for us, the slow-mo and pause on the contact looked awful which is why the imbecile Attwell sent him off. Meaning, Muff have absolutely no chance on appeal!

This is good, because Muff have run out of fit right backs and only have four inexperienced centre backs (18, 19, 20, 23). Two have never played in the Premier League with the other two having 31 EPL appearances between them. I hope we have Mr Welbeck back to take their class on Tuesday!

Yep. If both lose we're only 4 points off 4th... admittedly with a far inferior goal difference...
Hopefully the whole "CBA if we lose 3-0 or 7-0" thingie doesn't come and bite us in the end. Would be cruel.

Also a very good point.

So what we're hoping for at 2pm, is for the owners to get on the pitch and fight to the death, a winner to be declared, and then executed.

I think that if we can maintain the current levels we'll be above the Europe line one way or the other, irrespective of goal difference. I'm not saying Champions League, but top 7 or 8.

I see a lot of tired and injury hit squads around us currently and we look strong and fresher then we've looked for ages.
