As Herr Lipp would say: “Do not come too quickly to the process when Muff is about to be in your face, Alles Klar.”
In the non pc days I grew up in, we had a golf society and one of our members had a cleft palette and a small moustach and he was known as “ herr Lipp”. Thing is he had some bespoke driver head covers made with his nickname on them.

as I lived in South Africa for a while, my nickname was “ sambo”

Just the 31 posts before someone managed to get "Tories" shoehorned in on a manager thread.

I thought the 2nd of the Chelsea games was the first game all season where we looked good for 90 minutes. Whilst it's a bit mean spirited to have a slight moan after a 4-0 win, we did do that "make the opposition look good for a bit thing" we tend to do during games before and after half time until we woke up again. Southampton were as poor as their tactics were bizarre giving our pacy players all the space in the world to run into. I haven't seen that much space in the middle of the park for years.

Bournemouth is a big game. There's something I never thought I'd type.

Football fans are mental. Leicester fans were desperate to get Cooper out, now look at them. A large percentage of Arsenal fans want Arteta out, and they’re second.

As I said in another thread, it’s quite useful to me when posters here show their true colours because you can just block them and not look back.

If their reaction to a heavy defeat with the club in the top half of the flippin’ Premier League is to want the manager gone then why would I want their views on anything important. Or anything at all.
Its a mistake believing this is isolated to "football fans". Humans are like that.
Back on the fence for now.
Seems like a reasonable position from someone whos catchphrase is "going to sleep through the game, expect a win when I wake up".

I'm going to keep my powder dry until we've seen more. It's a bit early to start getting cocky IMO.
Fwiw, this thread was made as a gentle lampoon to the situation we are in on NSC at present. It is very far from me nailing my colours to any masts.

I am firmly Fab IN. But the caveat is that we need time and a fit squad to see what he can do. The only way he would be getting sacked before the end of the season is if we were going to get relegated. The rest is all gnashing of teeth and wailing.

A lampoon is the correct order of business at this time, IMHO like.

Nein, würde er sagen, "Kommen Sie nicht zu schnell zum Prozess, wenn Ihnen Muff direkt ins Gesicht springt, Alles Klar."

vagabond.

Weird guy. Three options really: I was him, Zeberdi was him or Mustafa was him. The court would laugh at any other explanation. And it wasn't me, olive branches isn't my modus operandi, so must have been one of the other two essayist weirdos.
It’s not my MO either.

I have avoided all the FH OUT/IN threads, in fact have most on ignore.

People can believe whatever tf they want about FH. Everyone is entitled to their opinion.

My beliefs have remained constant since day one. He’s a young manager that needs time to develop - mistakes will and have been made and this season will/has been primarily about rebuilding the team, bedding in youngsters and transitioning to a style of football the new manager wants to develop.

It’s not complicated.

As for trolling me for reactions, you have been back 5 mins so knock it on the head.

I've explained my stance in other threads. Having been vociferously "Fab Out" I'm on the fence now. Quelle surprise, eh?.

I've still not warmed to him though and that's basically fine. I don't need to like him to enjoy the football.

My issue had always been with the performances rather than the league position or points total. But even that I'm starting to understand now. I can see how he's trying to get us to play where I didn't before. We've managed to curb that annoying but short-lived habit of giving up comfortable leads and we've even picked up wins against a couple of the worst teams in recent Premier League history (Saints and Man United, for those wondering)

We're good right now. I hope we remain good. But more importantly for me I hope that when we do go on a shit run I'm able to keep my emotions in check.

I'm a wee bit embarrassed by some of the shit I wrote after Forest. The content ("FAB OUT!") was factually how I felt at the time but the delivery of it wasn't rational and isn't generally how I like to present myself on here.
