Just picked up my new toy - £55 on FB marketplace, pretty much unused - and still going for £280 online!
100ish.To the experts here. What psi would you inflate to for skinnies on a hybrid, only ever used on roads?
Depending on width of tyre and system weight, that prob way too high unless on 21/23 mm tyres.100ish.
I ran 25’s at 100Depending on width of tyre and system weight, that prob way too high unless on 21/23 mm tyres.
If you out your stats into those calculators, does it suggest 100psi?I ran 25’s at 100
I always liked to feel like I had enough in the tyre. Hated it feeling flattish running lower pressure. All my rides are off road now. So not really up to speed with road riding. If you out your stats into those calculators, does it suggest 100psi?
If weighty(ish) on 25s then 100 could be do-able.
High pressures sometimes “feel” fast but tests/studies indicate that in many cases not actually the case. There’s been a lot of research done over last 5/10 years on this and is why most riders (and certainly pros) are going lower, most prob around 60 on 28s I suspect.
The tyre will probably tell you the maximum PSI.To the experts here. What psi would you inflate to for skinnies on a hybrid, only ever used on roads?

My experience on rollers is the lower the pressure the more it feels like you are riding in wet sand. Be hard. Go hard.I’m not that thick LOL. I used to go by that then read online the thinking is to go substantially below.
