You are being too critical. Our form in 2025:

1 draw against Arsenal
4 wins, including 2 against bottom of the table teams (the ones we can't beat apparently) and
Wins against Man U and Chelsea
2 defeats (one embarrassing one)
13 points out of 21, not too bad.

Oh and 2 FA Cup victories, including Chelsea.

We have potentially 16 games this season (12 in the league) and I am sure we won't win them all, but if we maintain that form, a European spot should be more than possible.
What’s your point?

Good for Fab! Nice to see him join in. Maybe he'll have a song soon?
Give me joy in my heart, keep us passing
Give me joy in my heart, with play
Give me joy in my heart, keep them pressing
Keep them pressing till they break up play

Sing Hurzeler
Sing Hurzeler
Sing Hurzeler, it's time to sack him

Repeat

Get rid now Tony. Too inexperienced. Got so lucky in multiple games that we’ve won already this year and is now being found out when the luck runs out. Not ruthless enough, get rid now before the slide gets even worse.
LOLz.

He asked for help he’s now got his master to lean on. things have 100% improved. First time I’ve noticed Daniel on the bench tonight.

Don’t really get the cheap digs at previous posters venting concerns. The performances were patchy at best.
Football fans are reactionary questioning Fabs previous tactics are no more Knee jerk than some of the threads posted after our win tonight.

Gomez is our Jude Bellingham
(knee jerk quote)
Gomez looks at this early stage a very competent footballer, let’s not heap pressure on the lad and let him develop further.
(Level headed quote)

The majority of us aren’t level headed when it comes to football. Get off your high horses people.

Quite. I say this as someone who has never been Hurzeler out and actively avoided NSC after Everton and Forest because of the expected toxicity, but:

these quotes from after-timing happy-clappers are one of the worst aspects of this site. This form of gloating really isn't a good look. If it was my site, I'd be issuing warnings to people who do it persistently.

I disagree. Because it works the other way around too. Some people seem to actively enjoy us losing, and come on here specifically to find positive quotes and gloat at them. Which is way worse, and just plain weird to be honest.

Indeed. Throw absolute hyperbole nonsense out there? If you can't laugh at it a couple of months on when (who would have thought) a young team with young manager have settled and find themselves one point off a CL spot, then I'm not sure when you can. It's not done viciously.

I made a statement to my friends that Adam Armstrong would be a top PL striker for Southampton. I get a message every week about it. If you can't laugh at your own mad statements then it's a shame

The after timing is those people who got massively on their high horse making defeats actually worse to the extent the site becomes toxic and unusable that you can’t discuss tactics or selection because it was just turned binary into the manager having to be sacked.

So no sanction for some of the absolute tripe and nonsense that was spouted then, but suddenly warnings need issuing because somehow when we win 4 in a row those with an unflinching certain view he had to go can’t have their tummies tickled a bit??

While you are certainly correct, I don't understand why people take pride in having their thought process overruled by emotional nonsense.

That is actually a good question, when talking about other clubs ie Leicester it is discussed on here in a level mannered way and the majority came to the same conclusion they should have kept Cooper.

Leicester fans got caught up in the emotion of the game ex Forest manager he’s shit etc not realising he probably would have kept them.

Looking from the outside in is different from having an emotional attachment to a club I suppose.
