His sacking was effective.

Regardless of the fact that I like the bloke, and he does a lot of good work with young people in Brighton and Hove through his foundation, he really must feel hard done by.

Southampton are far worse than when we played them before Xmas, in fact I’d go as far to say they are the worst team we’ve played in our time in the EPL.

Perhaps the dye was cast when Director of Football, Jason Wilcox left for Man Utd last summer and was never replaced, clearly the recruitment last Summer without Wilcox or any subsequent replacement is now being shown for what it was, a shit show.

I know RM has already turned down Stoke, Luton and a possible return to Swansea, but let’s hope it’s not too long before he’s back in football, because our game is currently lacking talented young British managers.

I was going to save this anecdote for when I go on Graham Norton but felt I owed it to NSC.
I spotted Jack and Adam Hinschelwood in a Starbucks last week, when should I expect a call from the Graham?

Lallana must be a shoe-in as the next manager of Southampton.
Maybe but a bit harsh given his service to the club. I would have thought he was a shoo-in for next manager but they might go the violence route.

I agree with how pointless it was to sack him but if he "feel hard done by", then he has no grasp of how professional football (unfortunately) works.

If you win one game out of the first 16, you get sacked. Context won't matter. Is that shit? Yes, but it can't come as a surprise.

Any sign of Lucy Pinder?
