So, Everton vs Manchester United next… and it’s LIVE!

What are we thinking here score wise? I’m going 1-2 Manchester United with a late winner, “United are back!” Etc.

Then get absolutely battered next week.

1-0 Everton. United are terrible and Everton have had the second coming of the Moyesiah.

Everton have the players to play the Moyes way, plus are in good form. Win for Everton is the easiest to see here.

This. Followed by a week of long read pieces on how Man Utd should have stuck with Moyes.

OK I’ll say it, watching them under Moyes I think us only losing 1-0 to a penalty against this Everton side was a better result than it felt at the time

Yep, exactly as I predicted, Everton completely in control and Manchester United in the mud, looking absolutely hopeless.

The home result against Forest wasn’t bad in hindsight either. Lots of moans at the time. Stunk a little bit of we should be beating teams like Forest without actually realising Forest had become a good team.

Edit: for balance the home draws against Ipswich and Southampton still look like poor results.
