For a week or more I have been unable to visit the Sussex County FA website at sussexfa.com

This is the message I get:

Sussex.jpg

I have tried on both my work PC and my personal laptop at home, and across multiple different browsers - always the same result.

Just wondering if anyone else can access the site?

If not I'll try and contact them via other means.

Thanks.

Can anyone offer any suggestions as to why I can't access the site, given that I get the same thing on two different PCs/laptops? Any settings I can check?

I note you are in Arizona. So some sites do block foreign access or VPN access. If so, could be a policy change. I can access it fine.

EDIT- Nope, I tried it with a VPN and set it to abroad. Still allowing.

I used to struggle to get onto the Sussex Cricket website.
I think it may be because of the ‘Sex’ in Sussex. Scunthorpe fans may also struggle.

I had exactly the same thought as you @Change at Barnham and just went and had a word with our IT manager. He tried accessing the site by remoting in from his PC at home and still the same result so it doesn't seem to be a work thing. We all (me at home, work and him at home) all happen to use Cox as our internet provider so I guess it could be something that Cox have changed that is blocking it.

Weird.

Forgive me for having a chuckle when I heard that an address including 'sex' gets blocked by a provider called Cox.

I’d phone the Sussex County FA and ask if they have any issue with Cox and the internet.

Let us know how you go

I can access it. BUT I despise the FA systems and websites with a passion. My heart sinks whenever I have to use them

The “request is blocked” does sound like your ISP filtering. Can you use your mobile as a hotspot and see if can get in?
