Hi all,

The Fan Advisory Board have been working through the future of the Albion museum - how can we keep the phenomenal legacy of the club alive, educate new fans about the remarkable journey we have been on, pay homage to the absolute titans who stood against Archer and Bellotti - without whom, the Albion may not have been here at all.

Brighton Museum, based in the town centre (Pavillion Gardens) are exploring a permeant Albion exhibition, following the creation of the 'First Year in Europe' club collaboration.

Over to you - what is essential to be captured? How can we best creatively tell the club's story? Given the stadium's location, it's been important to us to work on how the club can be more openly represented in the city centre.

There is a short survey below for the Museum to capture feedback, which we'd be very grateful for contributions. Some further context as well.

Brighton Museum are rummaging through Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club’s kitbag of memories, stories and emotions and we need your help.

The last 30 years have been a rollercoaster of highs, lows and everything in between. Tell us in the following questions what you would like to see in an exhibition about the Albion, or stories or people you would like to find out more about.

Just far enough away from LDC
Thanks for the update. Daft question but anything that we loaned to the museum, how do we request it's return if it's not used going forward?

Looks like the town could be in for its very own 'Elgin Marbles' crisis...

I presume the museum will cover more than 1995 onwards?

Thanks @The Tactician have to say I think it’s quite disappointing that it is no longer in the stadium somewhere.

Let’s not forget whilst the last30 years were very important, the club has been around a lot longer…..
Agree with you in principle but what was the point of the museum in the ground if it couldn’t really be viewed outside of appointment. It was a really lovely little thing in the ground but unless you did the tour or were part of a supporters club it was never accessible. It’s not like we’re all hanging around Falmer on non-match days.

Having it sit at Brighton Museum is ideal.

Yes and I agree.

But it should never have got to that point, the whole access thing was an own goal IMO, this is another. Whilst I understand that there will be a club shop in the city, visiting The Amex is exciting for youngsters (ahem - and some adults 😃) at any point.

@The Tactician

How big is the permanent Exhibition in the Brighton and Hove Museum expected to be ?
Will it hold everything that is in the Albion Museum plus room to expand ?

Out of interest, how big was the museum at the AMEX?
