Still fence for me but edging towards 'in' after the reaction in last 2 games. Chelsea are no mugs and we have done them twice. Tactics and team selections have been right for both games. Seems a lot of talks have happened since the Forest shocker and so far it's worked. I'm not expecting us to win every game (although hoping we do of course).

Same for me, edging towards in - what is a good sign for me is that changes - successful ones - seem to have been made after the debacles; it's happened after the Forest thrashing, just as it happened after the embarrassment away at Chelsea back in September.
A lot of our goals early in the season came from Georginio and Welbeck linking up.

Whilst yes we did miss Baleba he had other options and choose not to use them he could have played the lad Gomez next to Hinsh or MO for and extra midfield body. Just to say we are crap with out Baleba doesn’t work with me. It’s his job to find solutions.
Probably more to do with Georginio being fit enough to play more - FH said he was having to manage his minutes.
I think some of those baffling team selections were around trying to give minutes to people who desperately needed them, and trying to find the best combinations. Obviously Hinsh being left on his own was fatal, but Baleba and Ayari weren't avaliable and Weiffer and O'Riley were unable to play for 90 minutes. I'm sure he would do it differently, but on the day his hands were pretty tied and it was a perfect storm. I think he has learnt from that.
Gomez was on the bench if you are on the bench then surely if needed you are ready to play? Or does a regular international starter need weeks of ten minute bed in sessions?
Gomez said himself last weekend: “I obviously want to get more minutes and be first choice, bit by bit. It was really hard for me in the first training sessions. The pace, the dynamic of training sessions and matches after I had had two months without playing. My last match was in November and I had had plenty of holiday. I got back to training to the maximum and doing what the coach asked of me. I speak a little English. I learn a lot from listening to my teammates. I have been in the USA, where they speak English, but in Miami there are a lot of Latin Americans so a lot of Spanish is spoken.
