Amazing speech by JD......Future American President.....meanwhile in the UK we have a totally ineffective Government and leader.
A speech which a five year old could pick apart for its double standards. I’m sorry, but you have to be very easily pleased if you think that was amazing.

Dormant account since 2019. First post endorsing a person who said that Europe is failing democracy whilst supporting a leader who tried to get an election result overturned and started an insurrection- then released those intent on murder.

So, let's open a bookies, who is this poster ? Any recent bans ?

Not exactly well known for their amazing sense of humour are they..despite the lols they give lots of us.
I'm really finding it hard not to start detesting everything American at the moment. I'm normally very rational, but the way Trump, Vance, Hegseth etc are acting - its insane. Its so hard not to tar them all with the same brush, even for the most fair minded, and think f*** you America, and f*** you Americans, wtf have you done. I can't be the only one thinking this? Surely most of Europe is now starting to think this way? What a dire state of affairs we suddenly find ourselves in. Christ

Potty, shirley?
Maybe Spence. I'd have him favourite here. Laughing emojis outweigh posts by 3 to 1. Also been mainly visiting political threads.

I mean, if you are coming on in a different guise, surely some adaptions are needed.

So you wouldn't expect a lot of intelligent conversation.

I'm backing Spence here.

Im very much of the view Europe should call them out and stand up to them. It’s the same with the local pub gob shite…until someone punches them in the face, they’ll continue being a gobshite. Europe needs to lay down boundaries.

Of course Europe is a failing democracy, what is good about the current European democracy? Simple question!

The point in hand was that taking lectures from a nation that appoints an unelected car salesman to oversee billions of dollars of cuts in public spending, threatens alliance allies with invasion if they don't hand over land to them, has a leader who led an insurrection against a democratically elected government and pardoned the insurgents, appoints judges based on political affiliation and completely ignores their judgements anyway, is in no position to lecture others on what a failing democracy is.

Quite. And all this since Jan..makes the next few years seem ‘interesting’ to say the least.
