Came up in the car. Immense track. It opens slowly like a flower.

I never wanted to know anything about this band in case it tainted my love for this track.
All I know is they are jocks.

Peter Hook in his autobio said Depeche Mode were complete live cheats when they toured with New Order, they played tapes. Would’ve been post Vince Clarke.

VNV Nation, one of my fave live bands, was for most of their career a bloke singing over a laptop with a live drummer.
Bob told me that wasn't 'proper' music.
Till I played him some of it.....and showed him the live video.
