Withdean years were fun, i could park 5 minutes away, get chips with curry sauce and be home within 10 minutes of game ending lol
As a friend once said to me, you could get up at 2pm and easily be in you seat for KO.

And it sounded far louder than a full house. Hats off to those that were there.
There were quite a few empty seats near us but I wasn't too bothered about the atmosphere being adversely affected, as the die hards will always be there and they are the ones who tend to be the most vocal in their support, as was amply demonstrated last night. Of course a more than creditable team performance helped too!

The ground in general was decently full - for a sat night 8pm game it was a decent turn out - the hysteria from many on the internet was proved laughable tbh. Those that didn’t bother again missed out. f*** em.
Still playing the same old record. 😴

Lots of new bods around me in the NS tonight, mainly of a younger generation than usual and a damned sight more vocal as well.

Great fun had by all!
Same around me in WSL. They made a noise even including a few naughty Words. The regular STHs would have been shocked and calling for a steward. I rather enjoyed it plus when I got home I watched the match again and did not go to bed until one o’clock. What a night for an oldie.

Conversely, I went to cov v Ipswich today. The ground was full, the A45 was shut, the ticketing system was knackered and getting a beer was impossible.

Reminded me the Amex is nowhere near as bad s we sometimes think. In fact, it's a lot better.
I watched a bit on TV and thought a big section on one side was closed off?

I’m not sure if this is tickets sold or actual bums on seats though.
