I’d just like to emphasise, I’m fickle as f***, its much better when we win isn’t it?
Because of Everton and the other shit performances before that.So why were so many people having toy-throwing tantrums after Notts Forest?
The Palace performance was the one that really opened my eyes to how easy we were to play against.Because of Everton and the other shit performances before that.
He’s been managing for ten years.I think the Fab in/out threads and over reactions to good and bad results are totally understandable.
We’re all a little bit unsure about how to react as in all honesty we’re carrying out a bit of an experiment that hasn’t been done before. There’s been hardly any other example of a high profile club (which we are these days) who have enjoyed recent success, taking such a punt on such a young, relatively inexperienced manager/head coach.
I’ve never gone so back and forth regarding a manager in my life and still don’t really know what to think! I’m hoping with hindsight, in years to come, we look back on this period as an obviously rocky period in the early days of a very successful period in our history under a manager learning on the job.
But nowhere near this level and for a professional team for a lot less than that, it’s completely different. He’s having to learn on the job quickly. He’s been managing for ten years.
But 'One game doesn't make a season'...Because of Everton and the other shit performances before that.
True but it’s used as a weapon against him. When people quote his age, they make it sound like he’s only managed for a couple of seasons. But nowhere near this level and for a professional team for a lot less than that, it’s completely different. He’s having to learn on the job quickly.
So, togetherness for 3 games. That’ll fix itHopped off the fence to IN but could quite easily climb back onto it depending on how the next three games go. We need to show togetherness and quality as a team regardless of results. That has been missing in some games.
Three games before Everton were wins with clean sheets.Because of Everton and the other shit performances before that.
I am not foolish enough to even consider we’ll keep that up in every game for the rest of the season! Good performances against two teams above us in the table and one at the bottom will have me Fab IN for the rest of the season. You choose whatever sarcastic route you likeSo, togetherness for 3 games. That’ll fix it![]()
It’s a legitimate concern.True but it’s used as a weapon against him. When people quote his age, they make it sound like he’s only managed for a couple of seasons.
Up pops Mr Entitled pissed off we won, like every time he/she is when we winBecause of Everton and the other shit performances before that.
I just can’t understand it personally. Did people really think when we hired a 32 year old Coach that he was going to be the finished article? Did people really think he wasn’t going to make mistakes? It makes no sense to me whatsoever, of course he was going to. I cannot fathom why anyone can be going ‘back and forth’ on him after 6 months. The whole point is that he is a long-term hire, and it shows a complete lack of understanding of Bloom / Barber’s strategy to constantly be thinking ‘shall we / shan’t we sack him’.I think the Fab in/out threads and over reactions to good and bad results are totally understandable.

I know what you’re saying but we’ve been here before. A long term coach hired who couldn’t win games at home and frustrated at times with slow possession. Then the long term plan came to fruition and he buggered off.I just can’t understand it personally. The reactionary nonsense on here from grown adults after we have won / lost football matches has been nothing short of embarrassing.
Is it embarrassing or is it just the kind of thing you expect on a football forum full of opinions? I don’t think it’s much different to the conversation people would have in the pub post match. To be embarrassing would be to suggest that people beyond NSC take a huge amount of notice, which seems unlikely.I just can’t understand it personally.
