"Great reaction. We showed character after that start. I'm proud of how they came back. It's not easy. That's why it was well deserved."

"Mistakes happen. If a keeper makes a mistake normally it's a goal. We try to support him because he's a great goalkeeper."

"Georginio Rutter is doing good. He adapted quickly to the intensity of the Premier League. He has great skills and showed it today."

"It was a togetherness on the pitch. It's a team performance. They bounced back, they stuck together. They didn't point fingers after losing. They took ownership."

(On no VAR) "But that's it. That's football. With VAR football is getting not that emotional like today. Everyone agrees that today was a great atmosphere. They can celebrate a goal because they know it's a goal. I'm happy it was like that."

"We always try to stay grounded and work hard. We try not to get euphoric after a good win or panic after a defeat."

"That's why we all love football because you can bounce back. It's not always going up, it's downs. In life it's important to know a successful journey is not a comfortable journey."

"I am really proud of how we bounced back from a big loss. I am proud of how they stuck together."

"It is very important not to overreact to setbacks. I stayed calm. We analysed the reasons."

"We all know what we get from Tariq Lamptey. He is a great team player and put in a very good performance. Mitoma has shown his commitment to this club."

How good was that?! Few things.

Not full stadium = much better atmosphere. Figure that one out.

How nice is it to stuff those twerps. Absolutely grim club with really grim, nasty fans. No idea how you get into supporting a club like that. No idea how you hail from a cosmopolitan city and still look like that. Either tracky clad chavs, racist cab drivers, or variations of Kurtan lookalikes from this country. Offering everyone out at the train station. Sad little men.

Tariq playing great, despite getting the wrong side of neto at the start.

Mitoma, his malevolent best.

Too many times we slowed things down in promising positions and worked it backwards. Very annoying.

North Stand taking care of Verbruggen in the second half after his howler was nice. And fair play to him. It didn't affect him again. Sign of a good mentality. Genuinely couldn't believe it when it went in.

Cucurella. HAHAHAH. and what the hell has happened to Caicedo? They've ruined him.

Diego Gomez. Yes please. Absolutely looks like the real deal. Good interplay, big, quick and constantly won the ball back.

Cashin. Wow. Quite something in the considerable flesh. I'll wait and see but I cannot imagine him against prem attackers.

How nice is it to play without VAR? I'd forgotten how good it is. Its such a shame the way it's gone. Such a fun release to see things happen and be decided in real time.

Another shout out for Webster - twice he's come on for an injured Dunk (Arsenal?) and today, Chelsea - never put a foot wrong. Great player to have on the bench and may soon be starting games.

Webster always struggled being a bit part player when stepping in after injury, but I thought he was decent after a run of games. But recently he's been playing well despite the lack of game time. Dunk too is playing below par at the moment, and I wonder if that's down to injury and a lack of consistent game time.

Did anyone else see Cucurella’s FURIOUS reaction to the Mitoma goal?

Unfortunately the TV pictures only caught the start of it but it looked like it was about to be a full blown tamtrum

So interesting seeing the different post-match reactions ranging from the pumped up to the laid back.

And then there's Rutter who's clearly in a category of his own.

He wins. :lolol:

I think he was crying to the ref over the Lamptey 'handball'.

To be fair to him I was also close to tears, thanks to the slow-mo of him sliding into the back of the net as the ball sailed in :lolol:
