I seem to remember this from the last game like this. Every aspect of the experience is better. Facilities. Getting served. Toilets. And oddly, no difference in atmosphere. Dare I say it even slightly better.

I'd vote for it like this all the time of it was sustainable. But what is this witchcraft?

Looked more like 90% full to me, though helped by the large away allocation. Good atmosphere anyway!

Im not sure but I doubt it. Many free full rows around me. Somehow everyone feels a bit looser and it's a bit chaotic. And maybe the people who make these games are just more noisy and less reserved but it felt more noisy than usual straight from the off.

Looked full-ish on the telly as well.
No where near. Almost empty ESU. Rest of the ground was surprisingly well stocked though. Was expecting it to be around 20k but seemed much more.

Anyone found out the actual attendance?

Man City at home was a the same, I loved it then and loved this now, but easier to say when we win.

Conversely, I went to cov v Ipswich today. The ground was full, the A45 was shut, the ticketing system was knackered and getting a beer was impossible.

Reminded me the Amex is nowhere near as bad s we sometimes think. In fact, it's a lot better.

A lot of the fair weathered stayed away - sadly A number who even post on here too. They saw it as a badge of honour - they are now seen as plastics own the whole 🤣🎣
Ha. All the trains were working and transporting people back and forth as well. Which is odd as I'd been told that they wouldn't be operating this evening.
