Disappointing. Villa came out with more intensity in 2nd half and we didn't up our tempo to match.

A winnable game against a side that Albion Women had beaten 4 months ago, but not to be.

The wheels seem like they've come off at the back. No league wins in 5 and no clean sheets since the Leicester league and LC games in November.

Really need 3 points at West Ham next week as Chelsea will be next up at home in March.

About as good as the first team

Hi all new to the forum. My daughter is a fan and looking to take her to one of the women's matches soon. Had a brief look online for upcoming game tickets but it inevitably leads to the mens games. Are the matches ticket only of can you pay at the gate? Any help appreciated

Another loss to a team lower in the table. Another 3 goals conceded. Not great.

In fairness, the West Ham keeper did make some excellent saves, but that doesn't excuse the manner of the two goals Albion conceded 2nd half.

If you haven't got the space to play the ball out from the back when a team is pressing, just don't do it. It's inviting disaster every time.

As we saw on Friday night, there's still a place for an accurate long ball through that takes out opposition players and that players can run on to.

There's beauty in simplicity.

It was a phenomenal start but it seems the wheels have fallen off midway through the season. One win in our last eight, including exits from the FA Cup and League Cup. It has been a tough second half of the season for us.

How many times have we all said this, and yet they still keep on doing it and giving the ball away! Its so frustrating, and I think has really affected confidence in the team when defending. Thank goodness we had a good start to the season so we aren't in the relegation battle.

The one bright point yesterday was Kirby being back for a few minutes towards the end of the game. Fingers crossed she stays fit for at least a few games and keep help us get back on a even keel again.

Far too many! It's an inflexibility when it comes to a possession-based passing game at all costs. Sometimes you've just got to play the percentages.

Noordam's hands-on-head reaction when the ball was lost before the 2nd goal said it all. Inside our penalty box, playing back across goal...

Yes, Kirby's return should provide a further clinical cutting edge with Parris - she'd have comfortably taken at least one of those chances created.

She'll need to if we continue to leak goals. 25 goals conceded now - only 2 less than Aston Villa who are 2nd from bottom. Got to address this asap.

I think this is the problem its inflexible, I respect the manager for trying a possession based game, but we need a plan B. We look to be just persisting with the passing game, without any real jeopardy. We need to improve our passing for this to work, and ultimately persisting with it, is the only way to do it, but it does mean in the interim, we do need to get a bit more, if in doubt pump it out. This I think is a symptom of the one relegation place, we find ourselves safe really without any real possibility of getting Europe, we can to certain extent afford to persist with it. I can see what Dario is trying to achieve which I think is good. There is a clear direction, its just a matter of time.
