[Albion] Next manager?

Could see Crofty as caretaker, with Dunk as assistant, for the remainder of the season if/when Hurzeler goes.
I think unless we now go on a run of disastrous results, out of the cup etc then Fab will be here until the end of the season at least. If he was to be sacked, or resign then I think the experienced German coach, Daniel Niedzkowski, recently brought in would be caretaker

I think we're past the point of gambling with unproven coach/manager.... The squad is (on paper) so much stronger and expensive that we shouldn't allow "trial seasons". De Zerbi had experience from Serie A and Shakhtar Donetsk, Potter from Europa League with Ostersund and Hughton from the PL.

Whoever the new manager may be... He has to have:

1. Proven track record from top flight management in top 5 european leagues (PL, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, Ligue 1)
2. Proven track record of improving young players (there must be some sort of algorithm to prove this?)
3. Getting best out of players
4, Man management skills
5. Fire, charisma, b*lls... whatever you want to call it

How many of these attributes does FH have? Genuine question btw.

Brighton factually.....
Steve Cooper

I'm not joking
Far better manager than Fabian will ever be and will get the best.out of the present group of player. He will not not try and blind everyone with science.and bullshit

With this clown in charge we are doomed
good grief no thanks, I would prefer someone more easy on the eye thanks.

those should be pre requisites for any manager coming in.

I was thinking back to what the club said were the reasons for approaching RDZ and at the introduction press conference we were told the key thing was someone who had competed in a top league, against clubs with bigger budgets. (The insinuation there - although not stated - is surely that they also have a proven record of developing players).

But another thing that Barber said was appealing was someone with the extra experience of having worked in a different country.

We probably aren’t going to get anyone who ticks all those boxes but Liam Rosenior ticks a few.
Managing Strasbourg this season and doing well, playing a number of young players including V Barco now.
Very good man management skills and anyone who was at Hillsborough on play off day will tell you about his passion.

The other factor in any future potential appointment who be, do they want to come to Brighton? I think he’d tick that box too.

As much as I like Dunk, he has never struck me as the type to transition into coaching. Maybe I am wrong.
Veltman, Welbeck and Milner come across as more likely to do that.

Don't see it happen personally but I think Xavi fits these criterias.

I’ve seen Liam in our away end on more than one occasion so there is no doubt he’d have the passion for this club.
