So the fan argued good behavior by saying he hadn’t caused any bother at games he was banned from attending. Hmmmmm.
Yup. A strange bit of logic.

But it does highlight that tickets get to people who shouldn’t have them and that the spotter system isn’t foolproof.

There’s a post on here and someone is selling two 1901 tickets for £200+ …unless it’s a ruse by the club.

Agree.

I saw the 1901 ticket ad, whilst they are transferable , selling them isn’t allowed unless you pop them on the exchange. Naughty.

Are the fan advisory board still operating? Seems to have gone silent from them recently (not that it was a huge amount of communication previously). But nothing has been posted on their X (twitter) account since September. The last updates on their website and their section on the clubs website havent been updated since september/october. I emailed them about a few things, no response except an automated reply. I messaged them on X, no response. Have they given it all up?

They’ll be sadly missed. By no one. Least of all Barbs.

The last time I saw any mention of The FAB was on the ST price increase where they were quoted as being supportive of the increase. Not sure how they gained an insight from fans on an acceptable percentage increase ahead of agreeing, as stated above I haven't seen any activity from them for a while, and certainly wasn't aware of any drop in ahead of the Arsenal game. If this is a regular thing, where is the drop in location and times

Think it was by the bag drop (south east corner) if memory serves.

Nothing to suggest this is a permanent position though. You’d think it would be in the “Terrace” once up and running going forward

There just seems to be so little communication. Having somewhere on matchdays is great, but if you dont communicate when/where it will be then most people at the game will be completely unaware of it.

Hi all,

Apologies for a period of quiet on communication - various issues around capacity since Christmas and getting locked out of X account (don't ask!).

Updates for all following a Chairs meeting with the club today.

Minutes below, also being posted to X again now.

- Working group chairs meeting attended by Jenny (Head of Supporter Services) Clive (chair) Andy (Matchday Atmosphere) Charlie (Community and Sustainability) Gill (EDNI) Jerry (Fan Experience) Jo (Women's Game)
- Club updated to report that support is to be assigned to the FAB to help with admin, capacity for reviewing documents. This was welcomed by those attending.
- Recruitment strategy discussed to fill representation gaps in FAB. Details for applications to be shared once the process is agreed.
- Club are reviewed PID documents created against each working group, but happy with direction of travels against each.
- Club to sign off meeting minutes from last official meeting + 2 x ED&I meeting minutes (illness at club resulting in delay)
- Fan Group meet hosted at BHAFC Foundation Hub reported to have gone well, and plans to repeat a session with supporters clubs towards the end of the season for further reflections
- The FAB are continuing to host pre-match fan meets before home games to speak to fans and get views directly. The next two our scheduled for Fulham (8th March) and Leicester (12th April). The FAB will also be communicating these opportunities more clearly following feedback via emails and social media account issues. Exact location and times TBC.
- FAB working to organise women's game coach to Aston Villa game following successful work supporting fans to Liverpool. Jenny / club have given 15 parking spaces for the game to support with this. Club are also exploring further opportunities to support on these initiatives with commercial team.
- Season Ticket meeting to be organised for women's team (FAB to review any changes)
- Community / Sustainability - Museum project to be shared with fans once received questions from Brighton and Hove museum. This will then be followed by a FAB led consultation with fans.
- Away fans moving - following email request for images / mock ups club updated to advise they are still working through with architects, and require more time to be in a position to share this. As soon as it becomes possible and confirmed against what they want to do, this information can be made public.
- Matchday Atmosphere: survey distributed and results received. A forum was also hosted to discuss ideas. Atmosphere group also to officially table 'end of season party' concept received through fan email correspondence.
- ED&I: Ongoing work to explore Matchday steward system to signpost via colouring those trained to deal with accessibility questions / specific needs.
