Not an album but an EP, complete with an animated movie for the entire EP:

Also another absolute classic about a road trip through the California desert and the different radio stations:

An album about our planets environmental issues, interstellar journeys, life, death and rebirth. Absolutely incredible work of art.

Good question.

"The Kinks Are The Village Green Preservation Society" immediately jumps to mind.

"The Liberty Of Norton Folegate" by Madness is an absolute banger of a concept album and, to my ears, by far and away their best work.

(One for @Harry Wilson's tackle ) "The Kid" by Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith.

Husker Du, "Zen Arcade". Roughly the same idea as the above.

XTC 'English Settlement' is a double album, and probably therefore a concept album by default. That's a cracker.

And most Laibach albums. Pick of the bunch probably being "The Sound Of Music", not least because they premiered it in North Korea.
