Why not just spell it "O'Riley" and the problem disappears? It's not too difficult, is it? It's not as if we signed Jakub Blaszczykowski or
Wojciech Tomasz Szczęsny
" problem " ? But we all know who someone is referring to.

He got booked for kicking off at the fourth official when Welbs was shoved in the back by Milenkovic. Looked a pen all day long and certainly as much a penalty as the one given against Lamptey. TBF we were all slumped in our seats at the end of that showing so I'll not hold that against him.
He was not shoved. It was an excellent decision from the referee. It was a coming together and unfortunate clash of heads. In no way was it a penalty.

Lamptey rugby tackled someone. Yes the other bloke started it but lamptey was an idiot.

I suggest the manager should make sure he is right before kicking off.

The problem I was referring to is the one you have when other posters highlight the correct spelling of his name. I accept it's a trivial matter and we, probably, all know who is being referenced but I, for one, don't have a problem with correcting posters who get his name wrong. Every time he's in the squad his name is on the teamsheet and in the match reports. It's not as if a poster has to guess what the spelling is.

There was an exceptionally tall man in the row in front of me whose head covered about a third of the pitch from goal line to half way line. At the beginning I was quietly cursing my positioning and the dance I was having to do to see any action in tbe box - but by the end I was grateful. It did make me wonder though whether it would have been rude to ask him to sit. I'm 6ft2 - he must have been 6ft6, maybe taller as he was a row down from me and still obscuring so much!
At 6 ft 5 I can assure you that it would be virtually impossible for him to sit at the vast majority of away grounds 😄 Had I needed to sit at Old Trafford this was my issue. But I do always feel for those behind me.

He would be the first manager, fan or player in history to do so.
Not really. No point kicking off unless it is an absolute howler and obvious to all. Behaving like a baby and then finding out you were wrong is something I taught my kids about years ago.

Behaving like a baby and finding out you were wrong is an absolute staple of NSC. In fact it's virtually obligatory for most of us 😄

My window cleaner's mate's cousin who knows someone who works for the club was told by someone he met in a pub that this is a well known fact.
I know of someone in Elmley who is a Brighton fan, so yes, they are getting locked up - fact!*

* locked up for PWITS, but not as “funny”!

Think you need to watch a replay.

It's at times like these I miss our beloved Ben's Grandad. RIP 🙏

Neighbour 2 doors down, out walking his dog, got chatting to this guy who just so happens to be best friends with............
But back in the day that was the case, BG had been supporting the Albion a long time, had had a very successful career as a pub landlord, he also knew a lot of people in and around the Albion but it was a different club back then.
