Europe obviously. If we fall off that given the start we've made, that will have to go down as a disappointment. The big difference from last season when we also made a good start is the squad depth we have should mean we can cope with the injury twists of fortune

Hope for a bit of sun in August, come September/October it'll start to get a bit darker and the leaves will fall from the trees. Winter will be fairly cold and miserable, but things might perk up after that.
Well I was right on winter, it's been bloody miserable since the beginning of December. :ROFLMAO:

I said this to When Saturday Comes in July.
"When Bloom pushes the reset button, it normally pays off. His only failure was hiring a youthful inexperienced ex Bundesliga coach ten years ago. So 16th then. "

Good grief.

We’re 10th. 17 points off relegation. 7 points off Europe. 4 points ahead of Palace, 5 points ahead of Manchester United, 7 points ahead of Spurs and West Ham.

Where do you believe we should be?

About where we are. And i was being ultra cautious pre season partly cos new manager , and also in denial that our good run would continue. (9th, 6th, 11th) . But yep. we're already safe.

I said 7th -10th.
If we finish say 11th I wouldn’t be too disappointed due to our injuries.
If we are 13/14th then the trend, after our decent start, would be very concerning.

Good to see the lickers have found this thread.
Again, our league position is not the main worry at the minute. It's the complete lack of tactical identity, ability to manage games, lack of personality, lack of leadership, inability to develop our youngsters who've instead been loaned out and the apparent squad disharmony.
Dismissing all of that on the basis of a very fortunate league position is stupid. I think most people would tolerate midtable if there was some obvious process that Hurzeler was attempting. Some clear learning on the job. He has not shown that at all.

We're 10th, but would it really be that surprising if Palace, Brentford, West Ham (even Everton) catch us up / overtake us? 13, 14, 15 wouldn't be that surprising. (And that's hoping Tottenham and Man U don't start picking up results).

Had the usual (Leicester) mad win the league bet. Had a more measured top 4 punt. A 7-0 pumping has dampened any enthusiasm. Our response needs to be seriously impressive
